Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Citizify you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or have guardian consent) and accept these terms.

Use of the Platform

Citizify is provided as a free educational tool. You may not misuse or reproduce any part of the content without permission.

Limitation of Liability & User Generated Content (UGC)

We strive for accuracy but provide no legal guarantees; always verify with official sources. Most of the data on the citizenship timelines is crowdsourced (UGC). We are not responsible for the accuracy of this data.

When you submit timeline entries, you agree that we may store, display, or delete them if we suspect spam or inaccuracy. Users must not submit fake or harmful data.

Subscriptions & VIP Alerts

VIP memberships are handled via third-party providers (like Buy Me a Coffee). Refunds follow the terms of the respective provider; your statutory consumer rights (including the right of withdrawal and warranty rights) remain unaffected. While we do our best to send automated VIP email alerts, we do not guarantee 100% uptime or zero delays.

Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. If you expressly request that a digital service (such as the VIP email alerts) starts before the withdrawal period expires, your right of withdrawal initially remains; if you withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for the services already provided up to that point. The right of withdrawal only expires once the service has been fully performed, and only if performance began with your express consent and your acknowledgment that the right expires upon full performance.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms for valid reasons (e.g. legal changes or new features). We will inform you of material changes in advance on the website or by email; changes do not apply retroactively.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
